Sunbrook Academy plans South Florida schools

Sunbrook Academy, an Atlanta area franchisor of pre-kindergarten schools, plans to open three to five locations in South Florida, including two this year.

While it looks for franchisees, Sunbrook wants to construct the schools for about $2.5 million each, said R. Scott Sutton, the company’s VP of franchising. Sunbrook is currently looking for sites from Miami through Port St. Lucie, and it’s narrowing its choices for a site in Weston or Miramar, he added.

“We are extremely interested in hearing from developers and construction companies we can partner with in South Florida,” Sutton said.
